DESCRIPTION:
New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Cuba", 8 day, time and strike hanging wall clock, c1917.
CONDITION:
Hardwood case in an old finish. This hanging clock is missing a decorative piece off the bottom & top finial is wrong. Original paper dial has age darkened with stains. Hands are original. Decorative glass has been replaced with clear glass. Pls see Tran Ly's book on New Haven Clocks, page 173, fig 651. The top finial should be a large 3 tier item and the catalog drawing shows the "splat" that can be made to complete the bottom. This is a $500 clock when complete. Ht 20"
